Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Plant to Manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients held on April 8 at Saga Factory

Tokyo, Japan-- Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President: Taro Iwamoto) announced today that the company held a groundbreaking ceremony on April 8, 2010 to begin construction of a new plant to manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients on the grounds of the Otsuka Phamaceutical Co., Ltd. Saga Factory in Saga Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan.
