Largest Free Live Music Concert in Japan to Be Held

Tokyo, Japan ― Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President: Taro Iwamoto) announced today that it would host the "Exciting Summer in Wajiki '12," the largest free live music concert in Japan, in the premises of its Tokushima Wajiki Factory on August 13 in conjunction with the municipal government.

This concert, which is held each year in the Obon festival period, draws families from throughout Tokushima and other prefectures. Last year around 25,000 people filled the lawn of the venue in the factory grounds.

Marking its 23rd year, the event welcomes Rihwa as the opening act, in addition to Leo Ieiri, Scandal, Sonar Pocket, and NIKIIE currently popular amongst young people.
