Tokyo, Japan―Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President: Taro Iwamoto) announced today that its Tokushima Itano Factory worked in unison with the community of Asan, Itanocho in support of the November 13 Asan Walking Festival in Itano, an event held to walk the local Asan mountain range.

Kanpei Hazama, who completed an Earth Marathon in which he circumnavigated the world on foot and by yacht, was invited to make an appeal for the importance of environmental protection and health by means of a talk show given to an audience of 8,000 participants and family members.
