What is acne?
Around the time of puberty, the sebaceous glands become active, causing the production of excess sebum.
As a result, the pores get clogged, acne bacteria multiply and become inflamed, which produces acne. Acne appears in the form of pimples, red spots (papules) when there is inflammation, or white spots without inflammation. Further inflammation can result in yellow pus.
How to treat acne
The first step in treating acne is to keep the face clean by washing with a face wash effective in removing oils. Refrain from eating too many sweets, maintain regular bowel movements, and refrain from using oil-based skin care products.
In addition to over-the-counter acne creams, antibiotics effective in treating acne can be prescribed by dermatologists. If your acne is severe, please consult a dermatologist.
How to use Oronine H Ointment
For the treatment of acne or eruptions, gently apply a small amount of Oronine H Ointment to the affected area with a fingertip. Wipe off excess with a soft cloth or a piece of gauze.
Important points in treating acne
Wash the face twice a day with acne soap and warm water.
Wash the forehead and nose twice, as these areas have increased oil secretion.
After washing, moisturize the face with lotion and add moisturizer to dry areas.
Hair and clothing
Hair touching the face, especially the forehead and jawline, will cause acne to worsen. Avoid hairstyles where the ends of hair touch these areas. Also avoid wearing clothing where the fabric touches the jawline.
Make-up
Avoid using make-up, especially oil-based foundations. When using foundation, apply a thin layer, and avoid wearing for long periods of time. Do not apply thick layers or use double foundation to try to hide acne.
Meals
Refrain from eating foods with high sugar content, such as chocolate, snacks, coffee, or alcohol. Eat a lot of fibrous vegetables to maintain regular bowel movements.
Other
Ensure that you get enough sleep and maintain a regular lifestyle. Do not touch or pop your acne.
