ORONAMIN C DRINK Makes a Debut in Indonesia

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo, Japan; President: Tatsuo Higuchi) and Indonesian affiliate P.T. Amerta Indah Otsuka (Head Office: Jakarta, Indonesia; President Director: Yoshihiro Bando) (AIO) have announced the June 1, 2018 launch of sales of ORONAMIN C DRINK (ORONAMIN C) in Indonesia. In anticipation of the product launch, AIO has installed a new production line that conforms to requirements for halal food products and launched production at the Sukabumi Factory.

AIO produces and markets POCARI SWEAT, SOYJOY, and other health-related products for the Indonesian market. Various marketing and public awareness campaigns have boosted awareness of the health value of these products, earning a reputation for quality and reliability.
Affected by reduced consumer spending and other factors, the Indonesian market for beverages is slowing*1, with trends indicating a preference for high value-added, affordable products*2. With the introduction of ORINAMIN C, an iconic brand recognized and trusted by people of all ages in Japan, Otsuka aims to promote the health benefits of the product in the Indonesian market.
