Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Otsuka) has launched a new portal site, Corporate Health Solutions Portal, on June 30. The site is designed to help organizations to compare and evaluate the range of corporate health services offered by Otsuka as part of its commitment to total healthcare and improving well-being. In addition to outlining the features of each service, the portal includes interviews with representatives from companies and organizations that have already introduced corporate health services. These interviews why the services were adopted and how they are being used in practice. By selecting and utilizing suitable services from our offerings that align with the specific health challenges and goals of each company or organization, we aim to support healthier workplaces and employee well-being.

In light of Japan's rapidly aging population and the associated challenges, such as labor shortages and rising healthcare costs, companies and organizations are under increasing pressure to improved productivity, maintain employee health, and create environments that support long-term employment. As a result, health and productivity management have been gaining momentum. While efforts to improve workplace environments and diversify working styles are progressing, new challenges have also emerged, including the difficulty of managing health information and delivering appropriate health support to employees. Addressing these issues requires collaborative efforts between employers and employees.

To support companies in implementing effective health and productivity initiatives, Otsuka Pharmaceutical launched the "Kenko Shacho (Healthy President)" community website in 2020, guided by the vision of creating a society that supports ongoing employee health. Since then, we have expanded our efforts with services such as "Kenkokeiei Tsunagaru Support ONLINE," which assists with certification and branding; "fitbiz," a program that promotes healthy habits among employees; and, most recently, the Conditioning Supporter Training Program, launched in January of this year to support occupational health professionals including occupational physicians, public health nurses, registered nurses, and dietitians.

The newly launched portal features and compares these offerings, including Kenkokeiei Tsunagaru Support ONLINE, fitbiz, and Vivoo, a nutritional monitoring service introduced in Japan in September 2024 that is now being adopted by individuals, sports teams, and corporations.. We support healthier workplaces and employee well-being by offering some health services that companies and organizations can select based on their specific health needs and goals.
