Otsuka Sponsors the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026
Supporting Conditioning and Performance with the Global Brand POCARI SWEAT
Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Otsuka) has entered into a partnership agreement with the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games and Asian Para Games Organizing Committee and will serve as an Official Partner of the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, which opens on September 19. Through POCARI SWEAT, Otsuka will support the conditioning and performance of athletes, officials, and others involved in the Games.
The Asian Games, the largest sporting event in Asia, is held every four years. Following the 3rd Asian Games Tokyo 1958 and the 12th Asian Games Hiroshima 1994, the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 will mark the third time the Games have been hosted in Japan. The Games are expected to bring together up to 15,000 delegation members from 45 countries and regions across Asia and will feature competitions in 43 sports from September 19 to October 4. This will be Otsuka's sixth sponsorship of the Asian Games.
At the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, Otsuka will provide POCARI SWEAT, an ion supply drink available in more than 20 countries and regions worldwide. Under the key message of "Believe in Your Potential." Otsuka will support the conditioning and performance of athletes, officials, and others involved in the Games through science-based products and information.
