Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Otsuka) participated in summer events in Tokushima Prefecture, the birthplace of the Otsuka group of companies. The Exciting Summer in WAJIKI outdoor concert and the ORONAMIN C DRINK PRESENTS Awa Odori Sound Festival have become popular Tokushima summer events.
This year, the Exciting Summer in WAJIKI outdoor concert was revived with visitors in attendance after a four-year interval. Both events are organized with the cooperation of organizations and local corporations with the aim of enlivening the Tokushima summer.
Otsuka will continue to work with communities to contribute to the cultural and economic development of regional economies and the health of local residents.

Co-sponsored with local organizations, this free-of-charge outdoor concert is held every August 13 on the outdoor stage fronting the grassy open plaza of the Otsuka Pharmaceutical Tokushima Wajiki Factory. First held in 1990, the year after completion of the factory, the annual outdoor concert was initially organized by young members of the Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations as a way to attract young people and energize the community. Now an established summer event, the concert is known by the nickname, "ExciSummer." Exciting Summer in WAJIKI 2023 was attended by approximately 1,800 music fans.

ORONAMIN C DRINK PRESENTS Awa Odori Sound Festival 2023

This free concert event is held in Tokushima Central Park annually on August 11, the eve of the Awa Odori Festival. The first concert was held in 1990, with the aim of contributing to culture in the local community. With a theme of "A Summer Evening Musical Hit Parade", the 2023 Sound Festival attracted 1,500 attendees, who enjoyed a twilight fantasy of music.
