Women's Health
To meaningfully support women's health, we engage in research and development to create environments where women and their communities can learn about physical and mental health, as well as ways to cope with female-specific health challenges.
A significant number of women experience a range of symptoms related to women's health issues and the impact of female hormones on both their physical and mental well-being. With societal progress and the increasing importance of women's contributions, it is crucial to raise awareness of these health issues.
Women face changes not only monthly but also through various life stages such as puberty, pre and post-pregnancy, and menopause. Symptoms can include hot flashes, dizziness, headaches, swelling, stiff shoulders, mood swings, and many more. Unfortunately, many women endure these symptoms silently or give up seeking treatment. These physical and mental health shifts can disrupt daily life and work.
At Otsuka Pharmaceutical, we aspire for women to lead vibrant and healthy lives. We aim to create an environment where women are more knowledgeable about their symptoms, understand their causes, and know how to manage them. Building on the expertise gained from our research and development, we continue to conduct health awareness activities that support women's health.
