Introducing Sakuraé Clear Cycle Lotion for Translucent and Healthy Skin

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Otsuka) has introduced a new item to its skincare brand sakuraé; the medicated Sakuraé Clear Cycle Lotion, which will be available from September 10 on our e-commerce website, Cosmedics.jp （https://cosmedics.jp/sakurae/）.

Sakuraé aims to deliver clear healthy skin that is free from dullness*1. To achieve this, we have focused on enhancing skin translucency*2.
Two primary factors contribute to the decline in skin translucency are lack of moisture in the stratum corneum and "hidden inflammation". The skin, which serves as a protective barrier against external elements, is continuously exposed to UV rays, dryness, friction, and other environmental stressors. These factors lead to mild, often unnoticed inflammation. If not addressed, this "hidden inflammation" can lead to skin roughness, dullness*3, dryness, and a decrease in translucency.

The newly introduced Sakuraé Clear Cycle Lotion is a medicated lotion with a delicate sakura fragrance crafted to enhance skin translucency through a dual-action approach. Our exclusive skin absorption technology transforms the lotion's rich texture into a refreshing, fast-absorbing serum upon contact with the skin; delivering deep moisture to the stratum corneum.

Additionally, the anti-inflammatory ingredients dipotassium glycyrrhizate and niacinamide work to prevent skin roughness, promoting a clear and healthy complexion.
